Twitter reacts to Shafali Verma’s heroics

After a terrific knock of 73 runs in the first game, 15-year-old prodigy Shafali Verma was unstoppable in the second T20I as well. She hit 69* runs off just 35 balls, building a partnership with Smriti Mandhana and the two of them winning it for Team India by 10 wickets.

Twitter was filled with appreciation for the teen sensation, with people calling her a prodigy and a “god-gifted” talent, while some complaining of how they missed the heroic knock because it wasn’t telecasted, and rightly so. Here are a couple of tweets from the game –
