Match 1: Chhattisgarh vs Cricket Association of Uttarakhand

Venue: RDCA Ground, Raipur

Chhattisgarh on batting first, made a score of 108 runs and lost 4 wickets. Batter Shivani Krishna, who also keeps wickets for her side, scored the most runs. She made a 29-ball 32 and remained not out. Opener Shivi Pandey 25(36) and captain Shyla Alam 29(28) also played crucial knocks.

Uttarakhand, in reply bundled out on 60. Preeti Bhandari 15(19) and Raghvi Bist 24(37) were the only batters who showed promise. From Chhattisgarh, it was Pransu Dhanson who grabbed 3 wickets. Dhanson only gave 5 runs in her 4-over spell. Uttarakhand were all out in 18.2 overs for 60 runs.

Result: Chhattisgarh won by 48 runs.

Match 2: Himachal vs Punjab

Venue: Ravenshaw University Ground, Cuttack

Punjab batted first after the game was reduced to a 17-over per side game. Zaman Akhter made 38 off 23 while Ridhima Aggarwal scored 18 runs in 9 balls. But the best knock of the innings came from Priyanka Malik who scored a half-century in 51 balls.

Himachal’s 1st wicket fell in the second over only as Harleen Deol departed on a duck and for a moment it seemed that it was not going to be an easy chase for them. But the duo of Nikita Chauhan and Neena Chaudhary built a match-winning partnership. Chaudhary played the second fiddle, giving the strike to Chauhan who was scoring with ease. She played a wonderful knock of 86 runs in 57 balls while Chaudhary scored 28 off 29. Captain Sushma Verma too hit a six towards the end. Himachal chased the score in 15 overs.

Match 3: Kerala vs Uttar Pradesh

Venue: RDCA Ground, Raipur

Kerala batted first. Openers Shani T Sasidharan and Jincy Kutty were on 9 * and 1 respectively when the match was abandoned in the 3rd over. Meghna Singh and Anju Prajapati had started the bowling from Uttar Pradesh.

Result: Match was abandoned.
