The veteran 28-year-old all-rounder Tahlia McGrath made her international debut on 27th November 2016 in an ODI against South Africa and made her T20I debut on 7th October 2021 against India.
Tahlia has surpassed a remarkable landmark of 1,000 runs in the T20I format for Australia at an impressive strike rate of 132.16 and an exceptional average of 42.29 in 37 innings so far. Her tally of runs includes seven half-centuries. Her best performance with the bat for her side in the format came on 20th January 2022 against England. She scored an unbeaten 91* (49 balls) in the run chase in the 1st T20I of the bilateral series at the Adelaide Oval.

She completed the landmark against India in their last league game of the tournament at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the 18th match of the tournament. She smashed a boundary on the 3rd ball of the 8th over bowled by Pooja Vastrakar. She became the fastest Australian ever to score 1,000 runs in T20Is in just 37 innings, going past Meg Lanning (38 innings).
