South Africa’s tour of Pakistan will feature three T20 matches, all scheduled to be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The series will serve as a crucial preparation period for both sides, allowing them to get much-needed match practice. The three T20 Internationals are set for September 16, 18, and 20, with the first two games being played under lights.

This series will also mark Fatima Sana’s debut as the full-time skipper of the Pakistan women’s team, following her recent appointment. Sana will be under the spotlight as she aims to guide her team through this important series and into the World Cup. The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a 15-player squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, all of whom will feature in the series against South Africa.

Following the series, South Africa will depart for the UAE on September 21, where they will continue their preparations for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. The Pakistan team is scheduled to leave for the UAE on September 23.

In the World Cup, Pakistan is part of Group A, which includes India, Sri Lanka, Australia, and New Zealand, making it a challenging group. South Africa, on the other hand, is in Group B, alongside the West Indies, Scotland, England, and Bangladesh. Both teams will be aiming to make a strong impact in the tournament and the series in Pakistan will play a key role in their final preparations.
