The Scotland under-19 Women’s team led by skipper Niamh Muir were hosting the Netherlands led by skipper Carlijn Van Koolwijk for a three-match T20I series.

Scotland not only managed to book a spot in the upcoming ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup in Malaysia and Thailand but also completed a whitewash against the Netherlands in the three-match T20I series. Scotland skipper Niamh Muir won the toss and opted to field first. After being inserted to bat first, the Netherlands were bundled out for just 41 runs. Scotland managed to chase down the total with 10 wickets in hand and 91 balls to spare in the first game of the series.

After opting bat first the Netherlands posted a total of 89/8 in their quota of overs, a slightly improved show from the visitors as far as the batting unit is concerned. However, the hosts Scotland were up for the task as they managed to get over the line comfortably with six wickets in hand and 37 balls to spare to not only seal the series but also confirm their ticket to Thailand and Malaysia for the upcoming ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup.

The Netherlands skipper Carlijn Van Koolwijk won the toss and opted to field first in a potential dead-rubber game of the series. After being inserted to bat first, Scotland posted a massive total of 144/3 in their quota of overs.
