Jannillea Glasgow, a rising star from St. Vincent, her cricketing journey began at the young age of 10 in the Park Hill community. While cricket is her primary focus, Jannillea also excels in volleyball, football, and athletics, showcasing her well-rounded athleticism.
Domestically, she plays for the United Survivors and the Trinbago Knight Riders in the Women’s CPL. Her current on-field highlight is a remarkable 5-wicket haul in a regional Under-19 cricket match, a proof to her bowling ability.
In April 2021 when she was selected for the Cricket West Indies’ high-performance training camp, her talent continued to shine, leading to a call-up to the West Indies A team for their series against Pakistan in June 2021.
The year 2022 saw Jannillea climb another rung on the cricketing ladder. She was included in the West Indies WODI squad for the series against South Africa and named as a reserve player for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. Finally, in January 2023, the moment Jannillea had been waiting for arrived, when she was added to the West Indies squad for the South Africa women’s Tri-Nation Series. On the 30th of January, she made her international debut in a WT20I match against India at Buffalo Park, East London.
