aThe Sri Lankan women’s team led by skipper Chamari Athapaththu stunned the South African Women’s team led by skipper Laura Wolvaardt by clinching their maiden T20I series victory (2-1) against South Africa. They also went on to record their maiden victory in the ODI format against South Africa in South Africa after 19 years, with a record highest run chase in the ODI format, scoring 305/4 chasing a target of 302.

ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings:

The Sri Lankan skipper Chamari Athapaththu saw her side over the line by staying unbeaten on 195, scoring at a strike rate of 140.28. She ended up as the 2nd highest run-scorer of the series with 258 runs to her name in three innings. Courtesy of her brilliant series with the bat, she has become the number one ODI batter with 773 points in the latest ICC ODI Batting Rankings. She dethroned the England all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt from the top.

The South African skipper Laura Wolvaardt on the other hand also had a sensational series, ending as the leading run-scorer of the series with 335 runs to her name in three innings. She also notched up the highest individual score for South Africa (184* off 147 balls), also her personal best score in the format staying unbeaten throughout the innings. She has also climbed up a couple of spots to the 3rd position with 718 points to her name in the latest ODI batting rankings.

The Pakistan women’s team led by skipper Nida Dar is hosting the West Indies led by skipper Hayley Matthews for a limited-overs series that includes a three-match ODI series followed by a five-match T20I series. The visitors, West Indies, have already clinched the ODI series by winning the first couple of matches of the series.

The West Indies skipper Hayley Matthews has been by far the leading run-scorer of the series with 325 runs to her name at a monstrous average of 162.50, with scores of (140*, 44, and 141) in three innings. She smacked a couple of centuries in the series. As a result of her sensational performance, she has climbed up seven spots to the 11th position with 625 points to her name in the ICC ODI Batting Rankings. The veteran 32-year-old batter Stafanie Taylor also had a decent series with the bat, scoring 122 runs in three innings. She has also climbed up a couple of spots to the 18th position with 574 points to her name in the ODI Batting Rankings.

Former Pakistan skipper Bismah Mahroof has also climbed up one spot to the 27th position with 507 points to her name in the batting rankings. The Sri Lankan batter Nilakshika Silva has also climbed up four spots to the 45th position with 407 points to her name. Yet another West Indian batter who had an impressive series with the bat was the 31-year-old batter Shemaine Campbelle as she was the 2nd highest run-scorer of the series with 135 runs to her name. She has also earned a massive rise as she climbed up 17 spots to the 54th position with 352 points to her name. Chinelle Henry also climbed up 11 spots to the 65th position with 320 points to her name.

ICC Bowling Rankings:

The Pakistan left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal picked up three wickets with the ball in the series. She has climbed up six spots to the 17th position with 521 points to her name in the ICC Women’s ODI Bowling Rankings. Pakistan skipper Nida Dar was the joint-highest wicket-taker alongside the West Indies skipper Hayley Matthews in the series with 6 wickets to her name. As a result, she has climbed up one spot to the 21st position with 489 points to her name.

The 37-year-old leg-spinner Afy Fletcher picked up four wickets in the series. She has climbed up nine spots to the 26th position with 435 points to her name in the latest bowling rankings. The 31-year-old right-arm pacer Shamilia Connell picked up a couple of wickets in the series and has climbed up three spots to the 25th position with 453 points in the bowling rankings. The 28-year-old pace bowling all-rounder Chinelle Henry was the 2nd highest wicket-taker of the series with 5 wickets to her name in three innings. She has climbed up six spots to equal the 36th position with 403 points to her name alongside the New Zealand skipper Sophie Devine in the bowling rankings.

The Sri Lankan spin bowling all-rounder Kavisha Dilhari has climbed up seven spots to the 48th position with 365 points to her name in the bowling rankings. The 27-year-old Pakistan off-spinner Umm-e-Hani picked up two wickets in the series and has climbed up 9 spots to equal 60th position alongside Kelis Ndhlovu with 313 points to her name. The 29-year-old off-spinner from West Indies Karishma Ramharack picked up four wickets in the three-match ODI series and has climbed up five spots to equal 62nd position alongside Fahima Khatun with 312 points to her name.

The Sri Lankan left-arm spinner Sugadika Kumari has climbed up one spot to 66th position with 306 points to her name. The Sri Lankan skipper Chamari Athapaththu has climbed up four spots to the 70th position with 287 points to her name.

The West Indies skipper Hayley Matthews has climbed up three spots to the 2nd position with 396 points to her name in the latest ICC All-rounder Rankings. The Sri Lankan skipper Chamari Athapaththu has climbed up a couple of spots to the 9th position with 221 points to her name in the rankings. The 24-year-old South African all-rounder Nadine de Klerk has climbed up a couple of spots to the 20th position with 151 points to her name in the ODI all-rounder Rankings.

The Sri Lankan all-rounder Kavisha Dilhari has climbed up one spot to the 25th position with 131 points to her name in the rankings. The 28-year-old all-rounder from West Indies Chinelle Henry has climbed up 6 spots to the 26th position with 128 points to her name in the all-rounder rankings. Left-arm spinner from Pakistan Sadia Iqbal has climbed up six spots to 35th position with 98 points to her name in the latest ODI all-rounder rankings.

Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings:

Ireland skipper Laura Delany climbed up one spot to 48th position with 507 points to her name, Arlene Kelly climbed up a couple of spots to 26th position with 579 points to her name, Ava Canning earned a massive rise as she climbed up 15 spots to equal 53rd position alongside Diana Baig with 482 points to her name, Cara Murray climbed up one spot to 49th position with 502 points to her name and Alana Dalzell climbed up 12 spots to equal 79th position alongside Loreen Tshuma with 403 points to her name in the latest T20I Bowling Rankings for their impressive performances against Thailand.

The Ireland skipper Laura Delany has also climbed up one spot ahead of the England all-rounder Sophie Ecclestone to the 12th position with 213 points to her name in the latest Women’s T20I All-rounder Rankings for her impressive performance in the recently concluded series.
