Players to watch out:
Mandy Mangru
The 24-year-old batter has been in notable form, first managing starts in the recently concluded Super50 Cup and now in the T20 Blaze. Mandy didn’t bat in the opener and in the following games was promoted to the top order and went on to score 36(39) and 17(13). It’ll be hoped she capitalizes on this momentum.
Sheneta Grimmond
The 25-year-old off-spinner didn’t find much success in the 2024 Super50 Cup; however, she has been a standout in the Blaze thus far. Sheneta has returned successive figures of 2/20, 1/8, and 2/24 from 3 T20s, and it’ll be expected of her to carry forward this form into the business end of the tournament.
Trishan Holder
The 19-year-old top-order batter didn’t score plenty in the lead-up to the Blaze; however, she has managed a good score. Trishan departed for a duck in the T20 opener, however, notched up a 54-ball 68* in the following game, and though she departed for 4 in her most recent outing, she’ll be backed to lead the tally.
NaiJanni Cumberbatch
The 16-year-old off-spinner has had a notable domestic season thus far, and continuing her form from the Super50 Cup, she has been effective in the T20 Blaze as well. NaiJanni has registered figures of 4/9 (4) and 1/21 (1.1), while also chipping in with the bat, scoring 9(11) and 25(42). She’ll be banked upon for the goods.
Pitch:
The slow and dry center wicket at Warner Park offers favorable conditions for bowlers, especially spinners, leading to an average score in the 90s. Batters face challenges on this track but can convert their starts once they settle in.

With partly cloudy skies and a minimal chance of rain, the conditions are ideal for a complete game of cricket in Basseterre. The temperature is forecasted to hover around 28°C, with light winds and a humidity level of 84%.
