What power Sajana Sajeevan! What beautiful technique of hitting the ball over the infield !! It’s not slogging. These are proper cricketing shots. This is the first time Sajana has opened btw. She doesn’t even opens for Kerala. #WPL2024 #RCBvsMI

There is obviously the big hitting but it's the smaller things that Sajana Sajeevan does so well too
Always running hard between the wickets, ability to play both pace & spin well, ability to score on both off side and on side and very street smart as a bowler#WPL

I need Sajeevan Sajana in the Indian team right now. #MIvRCB #WPL2024.

Ellyse Perry is such a champion
Has a handshake and lots of words of encouragement for Sajeevan Sajana at the post match presentation
Really the ideal senior player/overseas pro that any team would want to have#WPL

Think it's time for Sajana Sajeevan to be part of Indian T20I team
MI have not needed her off spin much but she's one of the best off spinners on domestic circuit, definitely the best among those who have never played for India
Can genuinely bat anywhere in top 8#WPL

Impossible to not admire Charlotte Edwards as coach, always rewards talent & hard work
Gives Sajana Sajeevan, who started this tournament at no 8, the most coveted opening role today
Sajana doesn't even open for Kerala, great opportunity this for her#WPL

Smriti reached the 400 mark
She struggled to convert her starts last season, managing only 149 runs last season. However, in this edition, she has already accumulated 259 runs, including two half-centuries, with 80 runs being her highest score. Though she departed cheaply scoring 11 runs in the last match of the league stage, she became the fourth Indian to surpass the 400-run mark in the WPL.

Bangalore Qualify for playoffs
Following UP Warriorz’s defeat, the Gujarat Giants and the Royal Challengers Bangalore were both competing for a spot in the playoffs as were the Warriorz. However, Bangalore’s 7-wicket triumph against the Mumbai Indians secured them a place in the playoffs. Fans were delighted to see their team qualify, as they couldn’t manage to do so in the first edition.
Smriti Mandhana's Royal Challengers Bangalore become the third and final team to make the #WPL2024 playoffs after Harmanpreet Kaur's Mumbai Indians and Meg Lanning's Delhi Capitals.
Fittingly, Ellyse Perry, who took a record 6 for 15, seals the match with a four, unbeaten on 40.
