Originally from Bhadrachalam, Trisha Poojitha relocated to Hyderabad with her father and brother driven by a strong determination to excel in cricket despite her demanding schedule as a third-year degree student in data sciences. She devotes six to seven hours daily to her cricket training emphasizing the importance of consistency in her approach with a century for the Hyderabad Under 19 team in the 2015-16 season serving as an indication of her talent. Poojitha’s cricketing journey is proof of her dedication and talent, having represented Hyderabad across multiple age groups under 16, 19, and 23 years she has consistently been the top scorer for the state team, Hyderabad over the past five years including in senior Women’s T20 tournaments. She has scored 140 runs in 6 innings with a strike rate approaching 130 in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2023.
