Dayalan Hemalatha represents railways in domestic cricket and has previously played for Tamil Nadu and South Zone.
Hemalatha’s international journey began when she was named in India Women’s ODI squad for the series against England Women in March 2018, although she did not feature in the matches, however she made her ODI debut against Sri Lanka on September 11, 2018.
Her talent earned her a spot in India’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty 20 tournament in West Indies where she made her women’s Twenty 20 international WT20I debut against New Zealand on November 9, 2018.
With promising performances in both domestic and international cricket, Hemalatha continues to be a valuable asset to the Indian Women’s cricket team showcasing her abilities with both bat and ball on the field, and also got a deal with Gujarat Giants in WPL 2023 where she scored 151 runs in 8 games striking at 157.29 and average of 30.2.
