Bio:

Nadine De Klerk, known for her contributions to both One Day and T20 formats, made her WODI debut against India in 2017 in a quadrangular series on 9 May 2017, followed by her WT20I debut against the same opponent, India on 13 February 2018.

Recognized for her talent, De Klerk was selected by Cricket South Africa for the Women’s National Academy intake in February 2019. She further showcased her skills in the inaugural Women’s T20 Super League in South Africa in September 2019, representing the Thistles, previously known as F van der Merwe XI. Her consistent performance earned her a spot in South Africa’s squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia and has now, from 38 T20I outings taken 37 wickets and scored 439 runs in 34 innings.

In March 2020, Cricket South Africa rewarded her with a national contract ahead of the 2020/21 season indicating her significance in the team. This recognition was followed by her inclusion in South Africa’s 24 women’s squad for training in Pretoria in July 2020 in preparation for their tour to England.

While she was named as one of the reserves for South Africa’s team in the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup, De Klerk’s participation extended to the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham England.

Looking to broaden her horizons, de Klerk signed with the Blaze for the English domestic season in March 2023 indicating her commitment to furthering her cricket career on both national and international platforms.

She joined Royal Challengers Bangalore Women as a replacement for English captain Heather Knight in the 2024 WPL edition.
