Players to watch out:

Josie Dooley

The 23-year-old keeper-batter, with an average of 19.35 in the WBBL, has accumulated 774 runs from 49 innings, with a highest score of 54. Josie had a challenging lead-up to the Bash, but she has shown promise with her starts (13, 23, 15, and 19) so far. She will be eager to convert these starts into scores in the 40s and play a significant role at the top of the order.

Courtney Webb

The 23-year-old middle-order batter, with 58 Big Bash outings, has amassed 1044 runs at an average of 23.72. In addition to her batting skills, she has taken 10 wickets in 13 bowling outings, with respective bests of 54* and 3/21. Webb is continuing her notable run of form in the tournament, with scores of 12, 49*, and 31 from her first 3 outings.

In her most recent outing, Heather was run out for 2, and in the first couple of games, she looked in good touch during her brief stays (18 and 13*). She has also been effective with the ball, producing figures of 3/27 (4), 0/15 (2), and 0/23 (3).

Ebony Hoskin

The 20-year-old pacer gained recognition following her performance in the Under-19 Championship and further impressed by taking a wicket off her first ball for New South Wales, dismissing Georgia Redmayne. After a successful 7-wicket Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL) season last summer, Ebony has built on her reputation this WBBL season, picking up her maiden wicket and returning figures of 1/18 and 1/14 from a couple of outings.
