Cricket legend and head coach of the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Brian Lara, felicitated Trisha at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium (Uppal) on the 13th of May. Brian Lara presented a plaque to Trisha and said, “It is wonderful to see your dream fulfilled representing India in a World Cup. I too had similar dreams. Best wishes to you.

“You are from Hyderabad. I would keep following your career and hope you will make it big and be part of our family.” Trisha was thrilled to receive such a prestigious honor in front of her home crowd and aims to live up to expectations after this morale-boosting moment.

Quoting Trisha, “I never dreamt of this kind of experience. Only yesterday I was told about this. I was really excited and hope to live upto the expectations. Honestly, it is a great moment. These are the kind of things which lift your morale and help you realise the bigger dreams. It is great to be honoured in front of the home crowd, parents and my coach.”

Trisha expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) for the felicitation. It truly was remarkable for the SRH and the HCA to have done so and particularly because it came months after India’s Under-19 World Cup triumph.
