Having made her T20I debut in 2021 versus South Africa, she made her ODI debut this year versus New Zealand. In her debut and her only appearance this year in ODIs, she looked impressive bowling three overs conceding 18 runs and seemed to hit the deck with her good bowling. It will be interesting to see how she is able to make the most of her domestic performances and her net bowling to stake a claim in the side.

Having made her ODI debut this year, Sabbhineni Meghana has been nothing short of a revelation but has been grossly underutilized. On the back of good performances in domestic cricket and the Women’s T20 Challenge, S Meghana made her way into the team after a brief stint in T20Is with the team way back in 2016. Featuring in three matches, she has scored 114 runs at an average of 38 and a high score of 61. What is impressive is how she strikes at 108.57 and bats with intent. With the middle order fluctuating, she can be a crucial cog in the wheel for India’s plans for the future as she has been impressive in the limited opportunities she has got.

Having made her T20I debut in 2021, she made her ODI debut this year and has already become the leader of the pace bowling attack. In the 7 ODIs she has featured, she has scalped 18 wickets at an unbelievable 19.3 and an economy rate of 4.62. Her best bowling figures of 4/28 versus Sri Lanka in that 2nd T20I was an unforgettable spell. Even in T20Is this year, she has been consistently delivering and with a crucial year beckoning Team India, she will be looking to make the most of all the opportunities.

The latest pacer to join the Indian bowling attack, Anjali Sarvani with her left arm seam has already wowed the spectators and to deliver in a T20I series versus Australia in tough bowling conditions, she really stood out. In the 5 T20Is she featured in, she picked 3 wickets striking at 38.0 and averaging 55.33. Her economy rate of 8.73 is reasonable and she inspired confidence with her bowling. If given the right guidance and support, she can go a long way and become an integral part of India’s prospects.

Having made her ODI debut in 2021, Meghna Singh made her T20I debut in 2022 versus Australia in Birmingham. In the 9 T20Is she featured in this year, she picked just 4 wickets while averaging 37.75 and striking at 27.7. She will be looking to fine-tune her skills and make her mark so as to stake a claim in the side with more consistency and better lengths.

Kiran Navgire

Touted as the next big finisher for Team India, Kiran Navgire made her T20I debut versus England. Having featured in 6 T20Is, she was not able to make a mark as she scored a dismal 17 runs with a high score of 10* and an unflattering strike rate of 89.47. She will be hoping to have a good domestic season and if picked for a side in the Women’s IPL, score runs in abundance to make her way back into the team.
