In the second ODI, Thailand were bowled out for 176 in 41.1 overs, with Natthakan Chantam top-scoring with 42. For the Netherlands, Eva Lynch claimed four wickets. In reply, the visitors fought hard but were bundled out for 168 in 46.1 overs to lose the game by eight runs. Netherlands’ Sterre Kalis starred with the bat as she mustered 54, while Suleeporn Laomi accounted for three wickets for the hosts.

Sterre Kalis: 

The right-handed opening batter of the Netherlands had a good outing with the bat in the second ODI against Thailand. She registered 54 off 91, including five hits to the fence. She led the run chase from the front and shared an 80-run opening partnership with Babette de Leede.

Eva Lynch: 

The talented right-arm off-spinner of the Netherlands wreaked havoc with the ball in the second ODI against Thailand. She accounted for 33/4 in 10 overs, including one maiden. She hit the right straps consistently and yielded rich dividends.

Suleeporn Laomi: 

The wily right-arm leg-spinner of Thailand was the most successful bowler in the second ODI against the Netherlands. She scalped 43/3 in nine overs, including two wickets in the 44th over. She bowled 31 dot balls in her spell. With the bat, she scored 12 off 29 and accounted for one run out.

Natthakan Chantham:

 Picking up from where she had left in the first ODI, the right-handed opening batter of Thailand mustered 42 off 65 in the second ODI against the Netherlands. She smashed four boundaries and a six in her innings. In the process, she stitched a 68-run partnership with her opening partner Sornnarin Tippoch.

Pitch

It will be the tournament’s third match at the venue. The teams batting first won both games. The wicket could be slower, bringing the spinners into play. The first hour of the play will be crucial as fast bowlers could get some help. A high chance of rain will make the toss important.
