The 2nd contest at the Hundred between Southern Braves and London Spirits saw Beth Mooney with a 97-run innings take over Jemimah Rodrigues’ 92* that’d come against Welsh Fire to lead the chart of the highest individual score. Below we’ll go through the top 5 such highest individual scores.

Beth Mooney v Southern Brave: 97*(55)

Beth Mooney batting for London Spirits in her game against the Southern Brave got off the mark with a boundary and it was just the start of something very special to follow. Mooney continued to find the odd boundaries in regular intervals and got to her fifty off 32 balls. She then decided to take complete charge and switched gears, it then was a flow of fours and mainly they’d come towards the end which saw her provide a strong finish for her side. Beth Mooney finished unbeaten on 97 off 55 balls, agonizingly falling just 3 short of a deserving ton.

Jemimah Rodrigues batting for Northern Superchargers in the inaugural edition of the Hundred last summer enjoyed an extraordinary run. Her best knock from last summer was when she struck Welsh Fire despite her side Superchargers being 4 down for 19. In a counterattack, Jemimah bailed her side out of trouble with a 29-ball fifty which she had converted to a 43-ball-92 to close out her innings. The special innings saw her side get the win with 12 balls to spare.

Smriti Mandhana last summer batting for Southern Brave against Welsh Fire started off brilliantly with a few boundaries which she then bettered by clearing the fence and soon got her fifty off 36 balls. Smriti then was fed a few down leg which she didn’t fail to punish before closing out her innings on a powering 52-ball-78.

Shafali Verma v Welsh Fire: 76*(42)

Shafali Verma batting for Birmingham Phoenix against Welsh Fire got going with a 6 early in her innings that she followed with boundaries and a couple more maximums in regular intervals to get to her fifty off just 22 balls. It wasn’t a lot post and with help of a few boundaries got her team over the line alongside Eve Jones in the 131-run partnership and got the win for her side by 10 wickets.

Rachel Priest batting for Trent Rockets last summer against London Spirit sparked the show. Rachel with a four over cover got going and then got a few sets of full tosses that she didn’t fail to dispatch before she was given a life on 40(25). She soon with a maximum got to her fifty off 29 balls. Rachel then struck a few more to the fence and clubbed one into the stands before being dismissed on 76 off 42.
