Players to watch

Deandra Dottin:

The hard-hitting right-handed opening batter of Barbados has been quiet in the two matches that she has played so far in the tournament. There is no doubt that she will be raring to go and making the most of every opportunity that is presented to her. Apart from her batting, she is known to be a decent right-arm medium pace bowler.

Hayley Matthews:

The captain of Barbados will be expected to lead from the front. She is a right-handed opening batter and a right arm off spinner. In the tournament so far, she already has a half-century to her name. She will want to come out all guns blazing in the do or die match against India.

Kycia Knight:

She is a left-handed top order batter and wicket-keeper of Barbados. Though she did not have the best of days with the bat against Australia in her last match, she was good against Pakistan in the first match, scoring a delectable half-century.

Smriti Mandhana:

The stylish left-handed opening batter of India scored an unbeaten 63 off 42 balls in her last outing against Pakistan. She hit eight boundaries and three sixes in her entertaining knock. India will expect her to give them a good start against Barbados.

Harmanpreet Kaur:

The captain of India had a good run with the bat in the tournament opener against Australia. The right-handed middle order batter scored a brilliant 52. India will want their captain to fire on all cylinders in this last league match of the competition.

Sneh Rana:

In the last match against Pakistan, this right arm off spinner, who was playing her first match of the tournament, scalped 15/2 in three overs, picking up both the wickets in the ninth over of the innings. Apart from her bowling, she is more than a handy lower order batter.

Pitch

The wicket is expected to aid the batters. A high scoring contest could be on the cards with both the teams boasting of some powerful batters. Among the bowlers, spinners, who have been more successful than the seamers, will be the key.

Weather

The weather is expected to see a shower in spots in the morning, otherwise a blend of sun and clouds. The maximum temperature forecast is 25 degrees Celsius. There will be 66 percent cloud cover and 40 percent chance of rain. The wind will blow from the west-southwest.
