The ranking saw a massive rise for Kerr who has smashed 3 consecutive 50+ scores in the last 3 ODIs hosting India with the best score of an unbeaten 119 that came in the 2nd ODI. A brilliant knock that brought the White Ferns from being 3 wickets down with just 55 on board to successfully chasing 271 with an over to spare. The 21 years old followed her remarkable performance in the 3rd ODI contributing crucial 67 runs as the team recorded the second-highest successful chase in the history of Women’s ODI. She also got a wicket each in both the matches.

The all-round performance has helped Kerr break into the top 10 of ODI all-rounders ranking, making a 7 point jump up to the 6th spot while a 21-place rise to the 22nd position in ODI batters ranking. Kerr’s teammate Lauren Down who contributed an unbeaten 64 in the record-breaking run-chase of the 3rd ODI broke into the top 50 occupying the 49th spot after a 14 place rise.

While Kerr’s performance has helped the White Ferns finish the matches on a positive note, Indian players have also seen a good rise in their rankings despite the loss. The ODI World No. 4 all-rounder Deepti Sharma has moved up 6 spots to 13 in the bowling ranking after recording a 4-wicket haul in the 2nd ODI and has also climbed up 2 places to 18 in the batting ranking after an unbeaten 69 in the 3rd ODI.
