The T20I series of the Zimbabwe Women Tour of New Zealand began with pure domination from the hosts, as New Zealand outshined Zimbabwe in back-to-back encounters. The hosts maintained complete control throughout the series, eventually completing a 3-0 clean sweep.

In the first T20I, New Zealand Women piled up a massive 202/1 in their 20 overs with a commanding batting display and a complete bowling effort saw them restrict Zimbabwe to 110/4. In the second T20I, New Zealand posted 196/1 in 20 overs and bundled Zimbabwe out for just 86 runs, registering back-to-back convincing wins. In the third T20I, Zimbabwe were once again put under pressure as they were only able to score 64 in 20 overs and the hosts chased down the required in 5.4 overs registering a dominant 10-wicket victory to wrap up the T20I series with 3-0.
With the shortest format series completed, attention now shifts to the ODI series. The first ODI will be played on 5th March at University Oval. Zimbabwe Women will aim to regroup and put up a stronger fight in the 50-over format, while New Zealand Women will look to carry forward their winning momentum.
