Pakistan Women produced a commanding all-round display against Zimbabwe Women in the 3rd T20I in Karachi, finishing the series on a dominant note with a comprehensive 133-run victory. The match began with an aggressive statement from the Pakistan openers as Muneeba Ali and Ayesha Zafar immediately took control inside the powerplay. Zimbabwe’s bowlers struggled to settle into consistent lines early on, and Pakistan capitalized brilliantly.

The opening pair raced to 50 in just 31 balls, combining clean timing with fearless strokeplay. Muneeba Ali looked fluent during her 22 off 17 balls, striking three boundaries before Lindokuhle Mabhero provided Zimbabwe their first breakthrough at 58/1 in 6.1 overs. Ayesha Zafar, however, continued the momentum and played one of her most assured T20I knocks, smashing 45 from just 28 deliveries with nine boundaries at a strike rate above 160. Her partnership with Saira Jabeen ensured Pakistan never lost control of the innings. By the end of the powerplay, Pakistan Women had already reached 58 without losing a wicket, setting the foundation for a massive total.
After the opening stand was broken, Pakistan continued attacking through Saira Jabeen and later Fatima Sana. Zimbabwe briefly found hope when Mabhero dismissed Ayesha Zafar at 92/2 in 9.3 overs, while Natalia Pervaiz fell cheaply for 1 as Beloved Biza joined the wickets column. However, the middle overs completely belonged to Pakistan captain Fatima Sana and Saira Jabeen, whose partnership changed the pace of the game entirely. Saira anchored the innings beautifully while Fatima unleashed a brutal counterattack. Pakistan crossed 100 in 10.6 overs and reached 150 by 15.5 overs, showcasing their dominance throughout the innings.
The fourth-wicket partnership between Saira Jabeen and Iram Javed also played a crucial role before Iram contributed a quick 29 from 20 balls, including two fours and a six. Michelle Mavunga dismissed Iram at 152/4 in 16.2 overs, but that wicket only brought Fatima Sana into complete control. The closing overs turned into a nightmare for Zimbabwe Women bowlers as Fatima Sana produced one of the most explosive T20I innings by a Pakistan Women captain. She hammered an unbeaten 62 from just 19 balls, enroute registering the fastest WT20I fifty, smashing 10 fours and two sixes at an astonishing strike rate above 326.
Alongside her, Saira Jabeen completed a composed half-century, remaining unbeaten on 50 off 32 balls with eight boundaries. Their unbeaten stand accelerated Pakistan beyond the 200-run mark in just 18.5 overs. Pakistan Women eventually finished at 223/4 in 20 overs, one of their strongest batting performances in recent T20Is. For Zimbabwe Women, Lindokuhle Mabhero was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets, while Michelle Mavunga and Beloved Biza claimed one wicket each. Despite the wickets, Zimbabwe’s bowling attack struggled heavily under pressure, with Nomvelo Sibanda, Kudzai Chigora and Adel Zimunu all conceding runs at economy rates above 10.
Chasing a massive target of 224, Zimbabwe Women needed a strong start but immediately lost momentum against Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack. Sadia Iqbal struck early and removed Kelis Ndlovu after her aggressive 32 off just 13 balls, an innings that included six boundaries and briefly gave Zimbabwe some momentum. Sadia also dismissed Natasha Mtomba cheaply, reducing Zimbabwe under pressure inside the powerplay. The visitors lost three wickets within the first six overs while scoring only 44 runs, making the required rate almost impossible to manage.
Runyararo Pasipanodya struggled for rhythm during her 15-ball stay before Rameen Shamim and Aliya Riaz combined for her dismissal. Pakistan’s bowlers maintained tight control through the middle overs, never allowing Zimbabwe to build partnerships. Adel Zimunu attempted resistance with 18 off 25 balls, while Michelle Mavunga added a fighting 13 from 9 deliveries and Olinder Chare remained unbeaten on 8. However, wickets kept falling regularly.
Nashra Sandhu dismissed both Adel Zimunu and Vimbai Mutungwindi, while Fatima Sana added another wicket to her all-round performance by removing Kudzai Chigora. Tuba Hassan also contributed effectively, dismissing the dangerous Michelle Mavunga. Zimbabwe Women were eventually bowled out for just 90 in 17.1 overs as Pakistan completed a crushing 133-run win. Sadia Iqbal and Nashra Sandhu finished with two wickets each, while Fatima Sana, Tuba Hassan and Rameen Shamim chipped in with one wicket apiece.
