The journey to securing the spot in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 will get underway for the four sides, namely Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and the United States of America, who will be participating in the T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier 2025, starting March 10. The Americas Qualifier is hosted by Argentina, from 10th March 2025 (Monday) to 17th March 2025 (Monday). From squad and schedule to broadcast and format, here is everything you need to know about the 2025 Americas Qualifier.

History:

Mexico hosted the inaugural Americas Qualifier in 2021, which saw the USA emerge champions with 5 wins from 6 games, while Brazil finished as the runners up, with 4 wins from 6 games. In the year 2023, the USA hosted the Americas Qualifier and yet again, emerged champions, this time around with a better record, six straight wins, while Canada finished as the runners-up with four wins.

Format:

The tournament will be a 20-overs contest played in the double round robin format. A total of 12 matches will be played in the competition and the table-topper from this four-team competition secures a spot in the Global Qualifier, scheduled for early next year.
