Heather Graham was called upon as Sophie Devine’s replacement in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) roster for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 after going unsold at the auctions. Though she has been part of the league before, having previously been with the Mumbai Indians, she has yet to make her WPL debut.

Known for her powerful batting and right-arm medium-fast bowling, the Australian all-rounder now has the opportunity to make a significant impact on one of the biggest stages in women’s cricket.
Graham has long been recognized as a talented all-rounder. Initially hailed as a “batting prodigy,” she made her mark in domestic cricket at an early age, playing regional matches at just 15 years old.
She became a crucial member of Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) before relocating to Tasmania, also representing the Hobart Hurricanes, further advancing her career.
In the WBBL, Graham has played 138 games, amassing 1,560 runs and taking 141 wickets at an economy rate of 7.16. Her best figures of 3/12 reflect her skill as a bowler, with 88 wickets taken for the Perth Scorchers and 53 for the Hobart Hurricanes.
Graham made her ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 2019, marking her entry into international cricket. However, her first T20I cap came in December 2022 during a tour of India, where she became only the second Australian woman to achieve a T20I hat-trick.
She has also excelled in The Hundred, scoring 268 runs at a strike rate of 139.58 and taking 17 wickets during stints with the Northern Superchargers and Trent Rockets.
Her versatility makes her an asset to any team, and despite making her debut in RCB’s final game of WPL 2025, she has the perfect opportunity to leave a lasting impression on the league. Graham’s extensive experience in the WBBL and The Hundred will undoubtedly be invaluable.
