As the competition heats up, fans are on the edge of their seats, eagerly waiting for the knockout phase. On March 8, the home team UP Warriorz, led by skipper Deepti Sharma, takes on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), captained by Smriti Mandhana, at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. This high-stakes match marks the final game at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium, the 3rd phase of WPL 2025.
The second WPL edition, held in 2024, was split between Bengaluru and Delhi, while the inaugural season in 2023 took place entirely in Mumbai. However, the ongoing third season has seen a much-needed expansion, with Vadodara hosting the first set of games, followed by Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium and Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium. In its final leg, Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium will host a couple of league games followed by the knockouts.
