Defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore are winning hearts both on and off the field. They are dominating the field with an impressive performance in Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 that sees them sitting at the top of the leaderboard with a staggering NRR.

While off the field, a heartwarming video posted by RCB, showed a young fan spending precious time with Ellyse Perry and head coach Luke Williams. The video has captured the hearts of fans everywhere.
The video featured Bhavya Thakkar, a young and enthusiastic RCB fan, living his dream at the team’s training session in Vadodara. In the beginning of the video, he excitedly asks, “Ellyse Perry has come?” before proudly introducing himself as a huge fan of the star player.
Bhavya, then bowls to coach Luke and later celebrates with a cheeky gesture. The young fan’s face lights up when he meets his idol, Ellyse Perry and tells her, “I am a big fan of you and Smriti (Mandhana) Didi!” Perry responds with a warm smile, saying, “Smriti, she’s the best,” which shows the mutual respect and the camaraderie the two RCB favourites share.
The little fan also met Kanika Ahuja and posed for a picture with her and Perry. As the video comes to a close, coach Luke praises Bhavya’s bowling and encourages him to keep supporting RCB. Bhavya’s beaming smile says it all as he exclaims, “Today is the best day of my life!”
As RCB continues to win hearts off the field, they will look to keep their winning momentum going on the field as well, with their next match against Mumbai Indians on 21st February.
