Bio:

Shubha Satheesh represented Karnataka before joining Railway in the domestic tournaments. Shubha’s journey in cricket began in November 2012 when she debuted for Karnataka against Andhra. Notably, she emerged as the fourth-highest run scorer in the 2020-21 Women’s Senior One Day trophy with 346 runs including four half-centuries.

In the following, 2021-2022, the season of the Senior Women One Day Trophy, she scored 263 runs at an average of 43.83 with a strike rate above 80, and ahead of the 2023-24 season, she joined Railways. Shubha’s prowess also earned her opportunities in inter-zonal tournaments where she represented South Zone. Her remarkable talent caught the attention of Royal Challengers Bangalore who bid for her in the 2023 Women’s Premier League auction.

Shubha received her maiden international call debuting for India in a test match against England in December 2023 where she showcased her batting prowess with a notable score of 69 in the first innings. Despite facing injury setbacks, Shubha’s promising career continues to thrive on both domestic and international fronts.
