Bio:
Amelia Kerr made her ODI debut against Pakistan in November of 2016, T20I debut in the T20I leg of the same tour, and has ever since been one of New Zealand’s match-winners across both formats.
She is one of the most experienced campaigners in the Mumbai Indians squad for this edition of the WPL. Having made her mark in various T20 tournaments around the globe including esteemed tournaments like the WBBL (Australia) and The Hundred (England), she will be waiting to have a crack at the opposition and light up yet another edition of the WPL.
In the previous edition of the WPL, Kerr played a crucial role in the team’s title-winning run. She made several match-winning contributions and saw her team end up on the winning side more often than not. She scored 149 runs in the tournament and ended the tournament as one of the leading wicket-takers with a tally of 15 wickets at an average of 14.06.
