Chasing a modest target of 199, Healy led from the front with an unbeaten 113 off just 77 balls, guiding Australia to a 10-wicket victory alongside opening partner Phoebe Litchfield. The Australian captain’s innings was a masterclass in precision and power — featuring 20 boundaries and coming at a blistering strike rate of 146, as she dismantled the Bangladesh attack with characteristic authority.

With her 55th run in the innings, Healy reached another major landmark by becoming only the fifth Australian woman to surpass 3,500 runs in Women’s ODIs, overtaking Alex Blackwell’s tally of 3,492. She now stands among Australia’s top-five run-getters in the format, underlining her growing stature among the country’s modern greats.

Healy’s century against Bangladesh came just days after her record-breaking 142 off 107 balls against India, an innings that powered Australia to the highest successful chase in Women’s ODI history. That knock, studded with 24 fours at a strike rate of 132, showcased her fearless approach and remarkable composure under pressure.

By following it up with another ton in Visakhapatnam, Healy achieved a feat of historic proportions — becoming the only female cricketer to score consecutive centuries in ODI World Cups on two separate occasions. She first accomplished this in the 2022 edition, when she smashed 129 against West Indies and 170 against England, and has now repeated the milestone with her twin hundreds against India and Bangladesh in 2025.

These performances have also elevated Healy to the top of another prestigious list — she now holds the record for the most centuries by an Australian in Women’s ODI World Cups, with four centuries in just 18 innings, surpassing icons Meg Lanning and Karen Rolton, who each managed three centuries in 22 innings.

Under Healy’s astute leadership, Australia’s campaign has gathered tremendous momentum, with her blazing starts setting the tone for the defending champions. Her ability to dominate both pace and spin has been instrumental in maintaining Australia’s unbeaten run, while her blend of aggression, tactical clarity, and calm leadership continues to inspire confidence throughout the squad.
