Xara Jetly is arguably the most in-form bowler in the entire Super Smash right now, currently leading the wicket-taking charts with seven scalps. She has been remarkably difficult to score against, maintaining an economy rate of just 4.97 while picking up a wicket every 12.5 balls. Her performance against Auckland Hearts, where she took 3 for 21, was a masterclass in T20 spin bowling, using her flight and turn to deceive established batters. Whenever the Blaze need a wicket to stem the flow of runs, Xara is the first person the captain turns to.

Jess Kerr
