On a double-header Thursday, Match No. 24 of the 2022 ICC Women’s World Cup will witness the defending champions England fighting hard to keep their playoff hopes alive as we come closer to the end of the group stage. On the other hand, Pakistan who though is out of the race to the playoffs would love to continue the brilliant winning performance they displayed against the West Indies on Monday. The match is scheduled for Tomorrow, March 24, 6:30 AM (IST) onwards

With a Record Partnership of 203 runs between Janette Brittin and Barbara Daniels both smashing brilliant Centuries, Brittin scoring 138 off 124 balls and Daniels playing an unbeaten knock off 103 balls 142, taking England’s total to 376/2 and giving them a massive 230 runs win over Pakistan who managed just 146/3 in their 47 overs.

  1.  2009 Women’s World Cup (March 12)

Laura Marsh’s 5 wicket haul conceding 15 runs (3 maidens) in her 10 overs helped England tumble down Pakistan with just 78 on board. It was an easy chase to the target as England won by 8 wickets with 161 balls to spare. Marsh was adjudged as the Player of the Match.

  1. 2017 Women’s World Cup (June 27)

A century to both England’s Skipper Heather Knight- 106 (109) and Nat Sciver who smashed an unbelievable 92 balls 137 contributing to massive 213 runs Partnership between the two, took England’s total to 377/7. With the D/L method being used due to rain, England saw a 107 runs victory coming their way. Sciver was adjudged as the Player of the Match.
