5 Key Players to Watch Out from India for Match against Pakistan Women

The 2022 World Cup has seen an excellent start with a few outstanding games. On Sunday, March 6th the most exciting game of the tournament is all set to happen as Team India is to face Pakistan in the ‘Mother of all clashes’. 1. Mithali Raj:

The legendary team India captain Mithali Raj is all set to start her final ride in international cricket on Sunday against the arch-rivals. Coming into the tournament, the experienced batter had scored 235 runs in 5 ODIs against New Zealand days leading into the World Cup. Since 2021, she has scored 9 fifties and has been looking in fine touch.

2. Deepti Sharma:

The 24-year-old all-rounder is going to play a big role in this tournament. This is going to be her 2nd World Cup appearance and she’ll be having more responsibility to perform. In Zealand before the World Cup, she scored 116 runs and took 10 wickets in the 5 match ODI series.

3. Rajeshwari Gayakwad:

The Karnataka left-arm has grown into an excellent bowler over the last 2 years. She has taken 14 wickets since 2021. In January 2022, she took 6 wickets in the ODI series against New Zealand. She was exceptional in warm-up warm-updating 2 excellent figures of 4 for 46 and 2 for 39 against South Africa and West Indies respectively.

4. Jhulan Goswami:

The veteran fast bowler Jhulan Goswami will be ready to start her final world cup campaign against Pakistan. She has had an excellent 2021 as she took 15 wickets in 10 ODIs. Against New Zealand, she played 3 matches and took 5 wickets. She will be the leader of the bowling attack and will make sure to give her best against Pakistan.

5. Harmanpreet Kaur:

The explosive middle-order batter, Harmanpreet Kaur is ready to showcase her power-hitting against Pakistan. She had an ordinary 2021. But, coming into the World Cup she scored a good century against South Africa in the warm-up matches and has been looking in good touch. She will be making sure to start the tournament on a high note against Pakistan.
