For Shafali, this match marked several milestones. Not only did she register her 10th half-century in T20I cricket, but she also achieved her second half-century in the Asia Cup tournament. Her innings of 81 runs off just 48 deliveries showcased her aggressive yet composed batting style.

Shafali made her T20I debut back in 2019 against South Africa and has since amassed 1825 runs in 78 matches. Prior to this innings, her highest score stood at 73 runs against West Indies in 2019. However, her knock against Nepal not only surpassed this milestone but also 3000 international runs.
