Richa unleashed an aggressive innings, remaining unbeaten on 64 runs off just 29 balls. Her innings was decorated with 12 boundaries and 1 six, achieving a remarkable strike rate of 220.68. This partnership with captain Harmanpreet Kaur propelled India to a formidable total of 201/5, the highest score in the history of the Women’s T20 Asia Cup and India’s highest in Women’s T20Is.

Richa Ghosh’s performance not only secured her place in the records but also highlighted her as the first Indian wicketkeeper to achieve a fifty in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup and only the third overall.
