Anneke’s journey commenced in November 2016 when she made her debut in Women’s One Day International cricket against Australia. Since then, Bosch has been a consistent presence in the South African cricketing landscape, showcasing her talent and determination on numerous occasions.
In September 2019, Bosch’s versatility was on display as she was named in the Terblanche XI squad for the inaugural Women’s T20 Super League in South Africa. Shortly thereafter, she made her Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) debut for South Africa against India in October 2019. Her seamless transition into the shorter format highlighted her adaptability and ability as a cricketer, solidifying her place in the national team.
Throughout her career, Bosch has continued to evolve. From being part of the South African Emerging Women’s squad that toured Bangladesh in April 2021 to being named as one of the reserves for South Africa’s team in the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand, Bosch has consistently risen to the occasion. Her selection in South Africa’s Women’s Test squad for their one-off match against England Women in June 2022 culminated in her Test debut, further cementing her status as a key player for her country.
