Belise Murekatete, born on January 01, 2004, is an all-rounder cricketer representing Rwanda. She made her debut at 17 years old on June 06, 2021, against Botswana during the Kwibuka Women’s Twenty20 Tournament in Rwanda. In her impressive debut, she picked up 2 wickets, finishing with bowling figures of 2/6. Since her debut, Murekatete has featured in 47 T20 Internationals, accumulating a total of 171 runs and striking 39 wickets. Her best bowling figure is 4/17, achieved against Sierra Leone during the Nigeria Cricket Federation Women’s T20I Tournament on March 29, 2023, in Lagos. For this performance, she received the Player of the Match award.
