Mekelaye is a Namibian batter who made her debut against Cameroon in 2021 aged 15, but the off-spinner didn’t have a bowl. Although Mekelaye is primarily a bowler, she has surprisingly bowled in only three out of 15 matches. Her best bowling figures came against Zimbabwe in 2023, where she ended up with figures of 2 for 17. She has picked up a total of 4 wickets in her career so far from the three innings she has bowled.
