Theertha Satish, an Indian-born cricketer representing the United Arab Emirates (UAE) national team, is known for her role as a left-handed top-order batter and wicket-keeper. Making her mark in cricket after being inspired by a Tamil sport-oriented film ‘Kanaa,’ she has swiftly risen through the ranks since her debut in November 2021 against Malaysia. On debut, she put up an impressive performance, scoring 46 runs in 48 balls, earning the Player of the Match title as UAE defeated Malaysia by 30 runs in the 2021 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier.
Satish represented UAE in the 2022 GCC Women’s Gulf Cup in Muscat, Oman, the 2022 FairBreak Invitational T20 in Dubai, and the Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup in October 2022.
