Bio:
The 37-year-old all-rounder made her international debut on 3rd June 2018 in a T20I against Pakistan.
She has picked up 116 wickets at a strike rate of 14.3, a sensational average of 9.48, and an exceptional economy of 3.96 in 81 innings. Her tally of wickets includes five four-wicket hauls and one five-wicket haul. Her best performance with the ball in the format came on 1st September 2023 when she returned with exceptional match figures (4-1-5-5) in her spell against Myanmar in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Region Qualifier. Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has also scored 598 runs at a strike rate of 73.28 in 56 innings. Her best performance with the bat in the format came on 15th January 2019 when she scored 56 runs at a strike rate of 127.27 against Indonesia in the Thailand Women’s T20 Smash.
She made her ODI debut on 20th November 2022 against the Netherlands. Her best performance with the ball in the format came on 23rd April 2023 when she returned with sensational match figures (7-3-7-3) in her spell against Zimbabwe. Her spell played a crucial role in helping her side clinch a thumping 6-wicket victory. Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has also scored 64 runs in seven innings in the ODI format.
She is a prominent figure in Thai cricket and has made significant contributions to the Thailand women’s national cricket team as an all-rounder. Boochatham’s versatility was further highlighted in the 2018 Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup, where she excelled both with the bat and the ball, emerging as the leading run-scorer and one of the top wicket-takers for Thailand.
Her stellar performances earned her a spot in Thailand’s squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, where she played a crucial role in the team’s matches. Boochatham’s remarkable achievement came in September 2023 during the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier when she became the first player from an ICC associate member to claim 100 wickets in Twenty20 Internationals, solidifying her status as a trailblazer in Thai cricket.
