Bio:

The 26-year-old all-rounder made her international debut on 4th June 2018 in a T20I against India. Her tally of wickets includes a couple of four-wicket hauls. Her best performance with the ball in the format came on 16th January 2019 when she returned with exceptional match figures (3-0-6-4) against Bhutan. She holds the record for having best bowling figures (3-3-0-1) in an innings till date. It came against Myanmar on 1st September 2023. Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has also scored 122 runs in 35 innings.

She made her ODI debut on 20th November 2022 against the Netherlands. In 8 innings she has picked up 13 wickets at a strike rate of 26.2, an average of 12.30, and an economy of 2.81 for Thailand in the ODI format. Her best performance for Thailand with the ball in the format came on 7th July 2023, when she returned with match figures (2.5-1-2-3) against the Netherlands. It is the 5th best figure in the ODI format. Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has also scored 35 runs in seven innings with the bat for Thailand in the format.

Notably, in August 2019, during the 2019 Netherlands Women’s Quadrangular Series, Kamchomphu achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first bowler for Thailand to secure a hat-trick in a WT20I match, solidifying her reputation as a talented bowler. She concluded the tournament as the joint-leading wicket-taker, showcasing her bowling prowess.

Following her success, Kamchomphu continued to represent Thailand in major tournaments, including the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament in Scotland and the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia, where she displayed her skills on the global stage. Her consistent performances earned her a spot in Thailand’s squad for the 2021 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe, highlighting her importance to the team. Additionally, she contributed to Thailand’s campaign in the Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup in October 2022, further establishing herself as a key player in the team’s lineup.
