Bio:
Dilara Akter, a promising cricketer, made her international debut in December 2022. As of 2024, despite the limited opportunities she had, Akter has shown glimpses of her potential.
In the domestic circuit, Akter played for Rangpur Division in 2017 and Mymensingh Division in 2022.
Her T20 International debut came on December 2, 2022, against New Zealand during the Bangladesh tour of New Zealand at Christchurch. By 2024, she had accumulated over 120 runs in T20Is.
In December 2022, Akter also represented Bangladesh’s Under-19 team in the 2023 Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. She scored 110 runs with an average of 36.66 in the tournament.
In One Day Internationals, Akter made her debut on December 14, 2022, against New Zealand at Napier. As of 2024, she has scored more than seven runs in ODIs, still waiting for more opportunities to fully showcase her talent.
