In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) extended full Women’s Twenty20 International status to all its member nations. Consequently, any Twenty20 matches featuring the Bahrain women’s team against fellow ICC members post have had WT20I status, reflecting the team’s increasing prominence on the global stage.

ACC Women’s T20 Championship-
Bahrain’s commitment to advancing in regional competitions was evident in its participation in the 2022 ACC Women’s T20 Championship. Despite facing challenges during the group stage, they encountered setbacks and finished last in Group B.
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier-
In the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier, Bahrain made its maiden appearance in an ICC tournament. Securing a victory against Qatar, they demonstrated their potential on the international stage, ultimately finishing fifth in the group stage.
ACC Women’s Premier Cup-
The 2024 ACC Women’s Premier Cup saw the Bahrain women’s cricket team embark on another chapter in their tournament journey. Positioned in Group C, they encountered tough opposition during the group stage. Despite their efforts, they fell short of progressing further in the competition.
