The 2025-26 season of the Women National Cricket League (WNCL) has been a breakthrough season for this talented all-rounder. She has accumulated an impressive 648 runs from 11 matches this season with an equally impressive strike rate of 84.92 and average of 81. She remains the leading run scorer of the tournament so far.

She has scored two centuries and three half-centuries this season. Her top score this season has been against Western Australia Women, where she remained unbeaten on 139 and showcased her ability to bat long under pressure by pacing her innings perfectly across 146 deliveries, hitting 13 boundaries.

One of her notable performances this season has been her fluent knock of 103 from 115 deliveries against Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Meteors, hitting 10 fours and 2 sixes while showering the boundary with her excellent hitting ability. These innings were not just about numbers; they reflected maturity well beyond her years and an adaptability.

Trenaman’s credentials in the longer format were further strengthened during her last outing for Australia A in an unofficial Test in August 2025. After scoring 21 in the first innings, she returned with a determined 64 in the second, showing resilience and the capacity to adjust after a modest start. Her performances in the preceding Australia A ODI series were equally steady 51 in the first ODI, followed by 24 and an unbeaten 21 in the next two matches reinforcing her reputation as a dependable player.

Apart from the 50-over format, Trenaman has also gained valuable experience in the Women’s Big Bash League tournament as well. She has played 45 matches in the WBBL tournament so far, scoring 440 runs at a strike rate of 95. She has also taken four wickets as a leg-spinner as well. She has gained her experience in high-pressure situations and that has helped her improve her game sense.

Although Trenaman is mostly known for her batting skills, her all-round ability to take wickets as a leg-spinner is a bonus for her as well. As an all-rounder, Trenaman is a balanced player, a quality that is considered essential for Test cricket.
