Yastika Bhatia replaces injured Harleen Deol in India ‘A’ squad
Baroda cricketer Yastika Bhatia has been called for the India ‘A’ squad. She replaces Harleen Deol who was injured during a training session.

Yastika Bhatia has been selected in the 15-member squad which will tour Australia to play limited over matches against their Australian counterparts. The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) women’s selection committee has named Bhatia as the replacement for Harleen Deol. As reported by ANI news, Deol had injured her toe during a training session and so had to opt-out.
Yastika Bhatia, 19, is a left-handed batter who plays for Baroda. She was part of the India ‘A’ team which had won the Emerging Asia Cup in Sri Lanka. She was also part of the ‘A’ side which had toured Bangladesh and won all the matches. Bhatia also represented Baroda which made to the semifinals of the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy this year.
The India ‘A’ women’s team will play 3 50 over matches and 3 T20s as part of the tour. Veda Krishnamurthy has been appointed as the captain of this team.
