After India Women’s team’s historic win in the semi-finals match against defending champions Australia Women, the excitement for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 finals match is getting bigger. India will face South Africa on November 2 at the D.Y. Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai. But with one day left for the finale, fans are left in anger and frustration with purchasing online tickets.
This time, the Indian Cricket Council (ICC) gave fans the option to book tickets online via the BookMyShow app, but the site got stuck and crashed, delaying the bookings. The ticket page continues to show Coming Soon status and keeps getting refreshed. With the delay, the concern among the fans grew on social media. Responding to the queries, BookMyShow updated on the situation with a post on X.
The post read: “Hello there, we absolutely love your excitement & are just as thrilled to see you at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025! Kindly stay tuned to our socials, the App &/ or the website, since the details about the same shall reflect in real-time as soon as the bookings go live.”

The semi-final clash between India Women and Australia Women at the DY Patil venue saw an attendance of over 34,600 fans, and more is expected in the finals match, but given that the problem gets fixed in time and the ticket sales reopen. Some users also reported that the Tickets are Sold Out.
Fan’s upset on booking delay
Taking their outburst on social media regarding the delay and concern over online booking, fans raised questions on the corrupt and pathetic planning of selling tickets via the BookMyShow application or website by the ICC.

However, one fan claimed that the ticket bookings on BookMyShow for the finals game had already started from October 24 the day after India Women defeated New Zealand to take their spot in the semi-finals. “BookMyShow opened bookings for ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 final tickets on October 24, 2025, at 7 PM IST. Tickets are currently available on their app/website, starting at Rs 100. The final is on Nov 2 at D.Y. Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai.”
