Smriti Mandhana makes a World Cup comeback

The classy left-hander who proved her magic with the bat is back into action after a long injury break, she sustained at Women’s Big Bash League. Smriti Mandhana replaces Devika Vaidya. Smriti played her last ODI on Nov 16, 2016 against West Indies women. 

Her comeback makes the opening pair a little more reliable. However, it would be interesting to see what role is being offered to this talented young batswoman.
