Egodage made valuable contributions in recent tournaments, scoring 59 runs and taking 3 wickets in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2024, followed by 96 runs and 6 wickets in the Namibia Women’s T20I Tri-Series 2024. In her only appearance in this tournament so far, she contributed 16 runs off 19 balls.

Suraksha Kotte –

The 22-year-old bowler has already made an impact in international cricket, claiming 31 wickets in 43 T20I matches. She demonstrated her wicket-taking ability in the Asian Cricket Council Women’s Premier Cup 2024, picking up 7 wickets in 6 matches. If given the opportunity to play, she has the potential to be a valuable asset to the team.

Hayley Silver-Holmes –

The 21-year-old bowling all-rounder has shown promise across various competitions. In the Big Bash League, she has taken 14 wickets and scored 81 runs over four seasons. She also made an impact in the T20 Spring Challenge 2024 with a three-wicket haul in the second match and delivered a steady performance in the Women’s National Cricket League 2024-25, contributing 65 runs and 1 wicket in three matches. Although she is yet to play a match in this tournament, Silver-Holmes has the potential to make a significant impact if given the opportunity.

Maisy Gibson –

The 28-year-old leg-break bowler has established herself as a consistent wicket-taker. In the Women’s Big Bash League, she has taken 72 wickets across seasons. Gibson’s impressive form continued in the Women’s National Cricket League 2024-25, where she finished as the third-highest wicket-taker with 23 wickets. In this tournament, she had a quiet start, going wicketless in the first match, but bounced back strongly, picking up 2 wickets in the second match.

Pitch:

The center wicket at Tolerance Oval provides ample support for batters, making it a favorable surface with an average score in the 160s. However, both pacers and spinners will also have opportunities to make an impact and exploit the conditions to their advantage.
