Every game was made out of total team effort and equal contribution in the batting, bowling and fielding.

In a conversation with TOI Yusuf Pathan said,

“We have known Mithali and Jhulan for a very long time, and I am glad that they came home along with Punam and enjoyed the hospitality. What these girls have done for women’s cricket in India is truly inspiring, and I am delighted to see that more people are taking a keen interest in women’s cricket. Mithali recently completed 20 years in international cricket, and we are running out of adjectives to describe her achievements. They really loved the food and it was a delight to host them.”

Yusuf Invited the players for a dinner at his residence as they have been missing the home-made food for a long time due to back-to-back tours.

The scenario for women’s cricket team is changing and going in a positive direction, which will directly motivate the side to perform their best in every inning.
