Dream come true for Mumbai’s Jemimah Rodrigues

Mumbai’s Jemimah Rodrigues excitement knew no bounds as her team cruised to victory in the All-India knockout league Champions trophy played at Jharkhand. But that wasn’t enough and to add more cherries to her cake, the Indian Captain cool MS Dhoni who was invited as a chief guest handed over the winning trophy to Jemimah.

Hailing from Bandra’s St Joseph’s Convent High School, Jemimah struck the right chord with Cricket at the tender age of 4. Besides cricket, she also leads the Hockey team has represented Mumbai and Maharashtra at the Under-17 level in hockey. 

It was no less than a fairy-tale moment for her. Female Cricket salutes Jemimah’s courage and determination and wishes her good luck for future matches.
