Nepal Women have faced hurdles in their recent outings, losing to Pakistan Women in July 2024 after suffering a crushing defeat against India Women at the Asia Cup. As they get ready for the next season, these findings point to areas that want improvement.

The Netherlands women’s performances have been inconsistent. They were defeated by Scotland Women in August 2024. They did, however, win a string of matches against Hong Kong Women earlier in June 2024.

Pitch:

The pitch conditions at Kirtipur’s Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground are recognised for being well-balanced. In the past, the surface has helped bowlers and batters alike. Fast bowlers should expect some early movement due to the pitch’s inherent pace and bounce, while spinners might receive assistance as the game unfolds. At this venue, the average first innings score is about 132 runs, thus a total of more than 160 may be competitive.

Weather:

On match day, Kirtipur’s weather prediction calls for cloudy sunlight and highs of 21°C. With little chance of rain delays, these weather conditions are ideal for cricket and guarantee an uninterrupted match between the two teams. Both teams will be eager to take advantage of the conditions as they prepare for the series opener.
