Team India’s FTP for 2025:

Ireland Tour of India, January 2025 (3 ODIs) [10th to 15th Jan]:

The Indian team, led by skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, will kickstart the ODI World Cup year with a three-match bilateral ODI series against first-time visitors, Ireland, likely led by skipper Gaby Lewis. India has a flawless record against Ireland in the ODI format. All the matches of the series will be played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot, starting at 11 AM IST.

India Tour of England, June-July 2025 (5 T20Is and 3 ODIs) [28th June to 22nd July]:

The Women in Blue will then travel to England for a white-ball series that includes a five-match T20I series followed by a three-match ODI series from 28th June 2025. The Indian team has historically struggled in England, with a win percentage of just around 26% in the ODI format. However, they can draw inspiration from their previous tour, where they secured a memorable whitewash (3-0) in ODIs—the farewell series for legendary pacer Jhulan Goswami.

The T20Is will be played across five venues: Nottingham, Bristol, London, Manchester, and Birmingham. The ODIs will be held at Southampton, Lord’s, and Chester-le-Street, starting on 16th July 2025.

Australia Tour of India, September 2025 (3 ODIs):

The Indian team will host Australia for a three-match bilateral ODI series in September. The series could serve as a dress rehearsal for the Women in Blue ahead of the much-anticipated ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. India has a challenging record against the formidable Australian side, with a win percentage of just around 17% in ODIs.

However, the series presents an opportunity for the Indian team to improve their track record against Australia.

ICC Women’s ODI World Cup (India), October 2025:

Arguably the most awaited and highly anticipated event of the year is the 13th edition of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. India will host the tournament for the fourth time, having previously hosted it in 1978, 1997, and 2013.

A total of eight teams will participate in the tournament, scheduled for October. Australia, the defending champions, secured their 7th World Cup title by defeating England by 71 runs in the final at Hagley Oval, Christchurch, on 3rd April 2022.

Bangladesh Tour of India, December 2025 (3 ODIs and 3 T20Is):

After the conclusion of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup, India will host Bangladesh for a white-ball bilateral series in December 2025. The series will include three ODIs followed by three T20Is.

The last time Bangladesh visited India, in April 2013, the home team dominated both formats, securing whitewashes (3-0 in ODIs and T20Is).
